About this opportunity

This role is for a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager for the iTero business. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Revenue Management and will manage a team of Senior Revenue Analysts. In this visible role, you will help ensure the accurate accounting and reporting for revenue in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.

The successful candidate will have experience working for a large publicly traded US company, have ASC 606... revenue accounting experience, and be an experienced manager. The candidate will thrive in a global organization that leverages their revenue accounting knowledge and ERP operational expertise while operating as a key contributor in a cross-functional business environment.

In this role, you will…

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue according to US GAAP and company policies

Directly manage Senior Revenue Analysts who are in the US and other locations

Support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process for iTero revenue which includes:
• Support monthly/quarterly close deadline and reporting requirements
• Manage monthly/quarterly close timeline
• Review and approval of general ledger journal entries
• Review and approval of GL account reconciliations
• Support monthly and quarterly internal reporting
• Support quarterly SEC reporting requirements
• Manage quarterly meetings with FP&A partners to discuss regional metrics
• Support external and internal audit requests

Support quarterly estimates including revenue reserve calculations and deferral estimates

Support internal control assessments, documenting review procedures, and audit requirements

Identify and support process improvements related to the close and accounting processes

Work cross-functionally with Commercial Teams and Technical Revenue Accounting Director to provide initial revenue accounting assessments for new customer contracts, new products, and new promotional programsSupport introduction of new products, new go to market strategies, and system enhancements

In this role, you’ll need …

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA required; active status preferred

Revenue accounting experience working in a large US public company

Experience managing a global team in a matrix environment

8+ years’ experience in a revenue accounting role at a Senior Manager level in applying ASC 606 guidance in a high technology company

Deep understanding of US GAAP and Revenue Accounting according to ASC 60

Expertise in managing revenue accounting processes within a large-scale ERP, preferably SAP

Proven manager working in a global organization

Strong business acumen and ability to work independently with cross-functional business teams

Detail-oriented focus and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Strong to Excellent Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.)

Experience with analyzing large sets of data

Excellent English written and oral communication skills

Experience with multiple element arrangement accounting, calculating deferred revenue estimates, and data analytics for revenue reporting

Practical experience navigating general accounting functions in a large-scale ERP environment
