Job Description
The Credit Officer is responsible in conducting credit evaluation for new and existing clients. This shall include but is not limited to the following:
Prepares financial spreadsheets derived from audited financial statements;
Processes the bank checking request, the credit risk rating request, and the appraisal request, as applicable;
Conducts client interviews/client calls to get information regarding the company and its financials and ensures that information and data in the Credit Offering Remarks are accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive;
Conducts trade checking with clients' customers and suppliers;
Prepares financial... projections for term loans, group fact sheets, and group financial highlights;
Prepares the Credit Offering Remarks, which consists of the proposal, company background, financial analysis and simulations, industry analysis, and other data that make client's credit strong; and
Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and credit risk management requirements.
Recommends the appropriate credit and loan package to the credit endorsers
Presents the credit proposals before the Sub-credit committee.
Conducts timely term loan reviews and line renewals.
Monitors compliance to loan covenants and detection of weakness/loan deterioration
Takes active part in problem situations, loan work-outs, and remedial management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Good in oral and written communication
Excellent in time management and can work well under pressure
Knowledge in FS Analyses and Projections
