Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and contribute to the establishment of Environmental Management Systems who will establish, implement and monitor management systems and business processes relevant to the Department. The successful candidate will ensure the leading standards and best practices and oversee their development, implementation and certification.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:


Mapping out a framework that the department can follow to set up an effective environmental management system

Support the implementation of the environmental management systems

Identify gaps and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the environmental management systems

Implementing operating management systems (eg. ISO series related)

Conduct and perform audits and life cycle analysis, followed by corrective and preventative actions

Implementing business process management & project re-engineering

Establishing, managing and supervising excellence programs (eg. operational excellence)

Training deliver, stakeholder management & Project Management

Essential skills:

Bachelor Degree in management or engineering

International or GCC driving license

20 years experience in the fields of auditing, consultancy and training services and accredited for excellence models and ISO series

Experience in developing and implementing compliance assurance programs and systems, as well as establishing compliance management verification tools (inspection, monitoring, auditing and reporting)

Auditor/Lead Auditor certification, ISO series

Experience in developing and implementing compliance assurance programs and systems

Experience working in government organisations

Experience in working with technology platforms and systems

A full driving license
