Business telecoms solutions provider is looking for a Network Communications Engineer This telecoms solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled Network Communications Engineer with current telephony manufacturer certifications to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex network communications systems for their clients.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the installation and support of the equipment at customer's premises to ensure effective service within agreed time scales and to the standards required by the company
Ensure the appropriate level of liaison between accredited partners, sales and customers is delivered to maintain an efficient and effective service
Plan and co-ordinate effective training ensuring the customer has a sound understanding of the product and the benefits it can offer
Complete the required documentation and reporting in respect of the installation, configuration and commissioning of... equipment as required
Responsible as required for the provision of office based technical support internally and externally
Ensure all projects you have been assigned, are carried out effectively to achieve the agreed goals and targets
Responsible as required for onsite maintenance
Ensure you establish and maintain appropriate internal and external communication

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience within an enterprise telephony communications engineering/IT Field based role
Current certifications from leading telephony manufacturers - Mitel, Cisco, Avaya, etc
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including LAN / WAN solutions

Experience with VMware and Linux
SIP certification or relevant experience

Experience of working with Mitel enterprise telephony portfolio of IP Telephony solutions or equivalent
Evidence of ability to investigate issues, analyse and present options for achieving resolution
Demonstrable ability to successfully receive technical training, subsequently deploying the imparted knowledge to best advantage

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Evidence of ability to investigate issues, analyse and present options for achieving resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid UK driving license
Availability to travel and work flexible hours as needed (on-call rota)
