The Position

Based on the Fylde coast across 5 main locations, B&FC is both academically and financially one of the UK’s leading colleges generating c£55m income pa and employing c1,000 colleagues to provide education and training services to over 16,000 students and apprentices each year. It has a strong record of investing in its staff and resources to ensure the best possible experience and outcomes for its students and has highly developed relationships with major employers locally, regionally and nationally. It is an exciting time for B&FC with £40m of Levelling Up funding having just been granted towards the build of a brand new £65m Higher Education Multiversity building in the centre of Blackpool, scheduled to open in 2026 and the launch of the Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology in September 2023.

The Finance team is made up of 18 colleagues across 4 teams - Financial Operations, Payroll, Procurement and Management Accounts all based on our main site at Bispham... campus. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team on a full time permanent basis working 37 hours per week.
