Kimley-Horn is seeking an Electrical Engineer- MEP to join our team in the Puerto Rico office!

Responsibilities
• Lead complex design of electrical systems for MEP realted projects
• Preparation of project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and marketing proposals
• Lead a team of qualified staff while mentoring, training, and growing a team to expand our electrical engineering practice
• Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams
• Responsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical floor plans, equipment schematic and block diagrams, load calculations, and one-line diagrams

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 8 years of relatable experience in an Electrical Engineering role
• Licensed EE in the state of FL (or ability to obtain within a year of employment)
• Experience managing and mentoring younger staff
• Interest and experience engaging directly with... clients, having a growth mindset to build business
• Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, other NFPA codes/standards, and energy codes
• Proficiency using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (AutoCAD)
• Building Information Modeling (BIM – Autodesk Revit)
• Security and communication design experience desired
• Experience in Power Studies, such as Short Circuit Study, Coordination Study, and Arc Flash Analy sis . AGI32 is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
