Job... Description:

We’re seeking an Information Systems Manager to oversee the day-to-day needs of the IT department and ensure that the IT infrastructure of the organization is up to date as per present and future needs.

The ideal candidate for this role is a strong communicator with a proven record of developing new IT projects and implementing rolling out updates. We seek individuals with the ability to listen and to speak concisely, as well as having the capacity to understand a diverse range of technical problems and challenges.

This is a full-time permanent position (35 hours/week) reporting to the CEO of the organization.

As an Information System Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Manage all information systems policies and documentation including backup strategies, user training materials, network maps, and security policies

• Managing IT department budget and prioritizing funds based on primary department goals.

• Participate in planning and researching appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the business.

• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

• Efficiently create reports, dashboards, programs etc.

• Install, document, and test software and hardware upgrades.

• Support multiple software and hardware systems throughout the organization.

• Offers leadership, coaching, and training to manage staff performance.

• Responsible for product development, database administration, and application support to support all users.

• Monitoring inventory of available hardware devices and computer accessories to assess purchasing needs.

• Make technology-related recommendations and decisions for hardware and software acquisition.

Experience: Several years of relevant experience including supervisory experience is required.
