Adjunct Lecturer
Web3 and the Digital Economy
Salary Range: The teaching fee will be determined based on the candidate's level of academic qualification and teaching experience.
Capital College of the Arts, Management and Technology (CCAMT) is actively seeking innovative and dynamic educators to join the team of academics at School of Management and Technology. As an adjunct lecturer to teach the course based on the principals of Web3 and Business 3.0, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality curriculum and other related teaching and learning duties.
Responsibilities for this position include teaching various modules within the program, such as
Blockchain and Decentralized Systems for DeFi and Digital Economics, Web3 and Regulatory Frameworks, Web3 and Privacy, Web3 and Sustainable Impact: Exploring ESG Frameworks, Web3 and Machine Learning, Web3 and the Future of Work, and the Capstone Project. The adjunct lecturer will work collaboratively with... other faculty members to ensure that the program's learning objectives are achieved.
This is a part-time position, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and departmental needs. Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars on various topics related to Web3 and Business 3.0, using a combination of theoretical and practical learning approaches.
• Develop and deliver engaging course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, case studies, and simulations, that align with the program's learning objectives.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work, including essays, portfolios, critiques, case study analyses, group work, practical work, reports, and presentations.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure that the program's learning objectives are achieved and that the modules are delivered in a cohesive and integrated manner.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the program, including the refinement of learning outcomes, the evaluation of course materials and assessments, and the identification of opportunities for improvement.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in other departmental activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervising Officer.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• A strong background in Web3 technologies, Blockchain, and Business 3.0 practices, including practical experience in implementing and deploying decentralized applications and digital assets.
• Experience in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level, preferably in a similar field or related area.
• A strong commitment to academic excellence and a desire to contribute to the ongoing development of the program.
Adjunct Lecturer
• Able to design and deliver engaging course materials that align with the program's learning objectives.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
1. Subject matter expertise: The ideal candidate should have a strong background and practical experience in Web3 technologies, Blockchain, and Business 3.0 practices, with a deep understanding of their applications in various domains, including finance, regulation, privacy, sustainability, machine learning, and the future of work.
2. Pedagogical skills: The candidate should have experience in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level, with a strong understanding of the principles of adult learning and an ability to design and deliver engaging course materials that align with the program's learning objectives.
3. Communication skills: The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
4. Collaboration skills: The candidate should have strong collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with other faculty members to ensure that the program's learning objectives are achieved and that the modules are delivered in a cohesive and integrated manner.
5. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: The candidate should be able demonstrate they can think critically and creatively about how to solve problems in the digital economy using Web3 technologies and decentralized networks in a way that aligns with the principles of Business 3.0.
6. Organization and time management skills: The candidate should have strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
7. Interpersonal skills: The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
8. Continuous learning: The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Web3 technologies, Blockchain, and Business 3.0 practices.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
1. Understanding of andragogy, the principles of adult learning
