The Project Engineer reports to the designated Project Manager. Corporately the Project Engineer reports to the Engineering & Projects Deputy Manager. The PE has responsibility to oversee the following aspects of his assigned project(s) from contract award to close-out, which may include:
• Feasibility studies;
• Conceptual design;
• FEED (Front End Engineering Design);
• Detail design, independent of, or as part of an EPIC contract;
• Procurement;
• Construction engineering support;

The PE is responsible for monitoring the technical integrity of the project, implementing the project schedule, monitoring discipline progress (with Project Services), project technical direction, supervision of disciplines to ensure conformity of design in accordance with the Contract scope of work and the project codes and standards. Participate in both Client and internal project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to departmental and project issues.
