MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

15-20 years working in the refineries and onshore oil and gas sector in the following categories:
• Extensive hands-on experience in Supervision, Control of Construction activities of all Civil works at site as per specifications
• Through knowledge in Concrete technologies, codes and practices involved in construction of Foundations, Buildings, Roads, Plants and Steel Structural works
• Experience in Site grading and leveling, excavations, back filling procedures, etc.
• Follow-up with contractors work to ensure the progress and schedule
• Ensure the sequence of work done
• Well experienced in adopting, monitoring and implementing Safety and Environmental issued from FEED stage of the project
• Experience with the use of international standards and codes of practice, such... as API, ASME, ASTM, BS, ANSI, etc.
• Coordination with other departments of engineering to achieve a common interest
• 5 years experience in a multi-cultural environment with extensive experience in the training of local nationals
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Excel & Word
• A high standard of safety awareness

THE JOB
• Perform inspection of routine activities of Construction, daily progress
• Prepare and maintain QC documents of the daily activities
• Issue permits for excavation, back-filling, concreting in cold weather
• Inspect the works performed are in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Implement environmental, health and safety issues on projects at all stages of project
• Reply to site requests on modifications and site change requests
• Interpretation & application of all Technical & Engineering schematics and drawings
• Review engineering documents received from vendors/contractors
• Shall follow and enforce the QHSE policy of the company

ACADEMICS
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Specialized in Concrete Technology or Structural Engineering
• Libyan or International driving license
• Higher Level Certificate in spoken & written English
