Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a Steel Trader to join the commercial team in Belgium / Germany.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
• Responsible for/In charge of physical trading activities across all steel products.
• Development, analysis, and execution of trading.
• Able to immediately leverage on existing relationships with both producers and customers in the Spanish and German markets.
• Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements, competitor activity and customer/supplier performance.
• Continue to develop network within the Global market to maximise overall profitability of the trading... book.
• Reports into the Head of Steel.

Key Qualifications / Experience
• Several years of experience in the Spanish & German carbon steel and / or commodity markets.
• Proven track record of trades.
• Transferable network of contacts in the industry.
• Understanding of operational and financial tasks
• To be located in either Germany or Belgium.
