Mechanical Engineer - Water treatment

Setsquare Recruitment are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our clients Utilities team based at multiple locations around Cornwall. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to an exciting time for the business with company car or allowance.

Responsibilities As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working in our Utilities team to provide mechanical expertise on projects at live environments across multiple sites, and projects operating within the water industry. You'll help implement design solutions and maitntain the running of the treatment works, alongside the supply chain, product suppliers, framework suppliers, and designers.

What you'll be doing: * Establishing client requirements and helping with the delivery of engineering design solutions. * Applying... technical judgement to investigations, feasibility studies, concept and scheme designs, and the construction support phase of projects. * Engaging with the supply chain and supporting the contractor procurement process. * Coordinate with all stakeholders including the client-side, internal and supply chain to ensure project outcomes are achieved, as well as organising shut down methodology in a timely fashion. Who are we looking for?

This Mechanical Engineer role is great for you if you have: * A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering * Good knowledge of package mechanical equipment - such as any or all of the following: pumps, submersibles, air blowers, gas works, holding tanks, wash water systems etc * If you've not worked in the water industry before, then we still want to hear from you if you've worked in a process orientated environment.
