Description of Job: Superdist Ltd Leader in IT Distribution across Indian Ocean Islands is looking for a dynamic and high-performing Logistics Support Executive.

We are an important link in the supply chain connecting IT hardware manufacturers and consumers. As such, we also provide presale and aftersales services to retailers, which are extended to the end buyer.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Logistics Support
• Assist the Operations manager and the Logistics & Distribution Specialist in their day-to-day operations in Mauritius and Madagascar
• Order processing and follow-up
• Liaise with freight forwarding agencies for competitive quote requests
• Coordinate and monitor shipment and customs... clearance
• Ensure proper documents are provided for customs clearance
• Order processing and follow-up
• Proper filing of final documents after clearance in accordance with customs regulations.

• Perform any cognate duties.

Candidate Profile:
• HSC Holder
• Degree or Certificate in Logistics would be an advantage
• 4 - 5 years’ experience in logistics
• Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office (high competency in word, excel and power point) with the ability to learn new software applications
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written
• Organised and be able to take initiatives
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills
• High level of integrity
