A reputed Real Estate and Construction Company is hiring for the position of Civil Engineer.

Position: Civil Engineer

Location: Kathmandu

Salary: (Negotiable)

Experience: 10 years of experience in the construction of RCC structures, multi-story buildings

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Job Descriptions:
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, manage and monitor the assigned projects
• Overseeing building work
• Maintain project files
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Design management, Quantity surveyor skills and Quality Control
• Providing technical advice and... solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction of RCC structures, multi-storey buildings
• Supervision of high rise building constructions
• Ability to read, understand and summarize trade documents, including drawings and specifications
• Understanding of construction industry processes including cost estimating, planning, scheduling, materials procurement, cost control and quality management
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Design management, Quantity surveyor skills and Quality Control
• Site management and problem-solving skills
• Competent analytical skills
• Ability to work with urgent deadlines, flexible priorities and manage multiple team leaders
• Proficient in report writing both in Nepali and English.
