Tell me more... TCHHS is offering the unique opportunity to work at Saibai Primary Health Care Centres (PHCC) within the TCHHS as a Clinical Nurse (CN). The CN will assist in the provision of Acute and Primary Health Care Services within the Hopevale community within TCHHS. Although recruited primarily to a Primary Health Care Centre, the CN may be required to work in any of the Primary Health Care Centres across TCHHS in response to operational demands.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
• High level of communication and... interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with hospital and community health providers within the Torres Cape Hospital and Health Service and beyond.
• Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture.
• Ability to provide high level of nursing and clinical leadership across the multi-disciplinary team that reflects the highest possible standards of relevant legislation and contemporary models of practice which includes quality improvement, nursing research and professional development.

Requirements For The Role
• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration/endorsement with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to commencement of clinical duties. Current registration with the Australian Health Practice Registration Authority (APHRA) as a registered nurse and current pr actising certificate is mandatory.
• It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 ( Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70 ).
