We are looking for an experienced environmental engineer for our new „greenfield” investor partner. Our partner is going to open a new plant in Debrecen with the aim of gaining a foothold in the Western market.

Responsibilities:
• Reduce the environmental impact of the factory
• Leading of the environmental pillar regarding the company's governance system
• Improve and establish the Health and Safety culture within the company
• Coordinating and record keeping the hazard assessment activities
• Coordinate HSE activities, taking authority in training and educating staff members
• Recognise and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices
• Reduce the waste quantities and the effects of the chemicals
• Analysing of risk valuation, near miss and accident data
• Keep contact with the local authorities

Requirements:
• College/University degree in environmental engineering
• Numerous years of experience in manufacturing
• Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken)
•... Outstanding communication skills
• Proactive temperament
• Leastwise 2 years of experience in a management position (preferably in EHS field)
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety systems, regulations, and activities
