JOB DESCRIPTION
• Maintain our data warehouse with timely and quality data
• Build and maintain data pipelines from multiple enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, BPC, Workday, etc.)
• Generate and implement architecture recommendations
• Recommend and implement data engineering best practices
• Support other data team members by setting direction and providing guidance
• Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation
• Implement and maintain robust data governance processes
• Develop and implement DataOps processes
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and system owners on multiple project

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years hands-on experience in data engineering roles with 5 years of team management experience
• Deep understanding of SQL and analytical data warehouses design (Snowflake preferred)
• Hands-on experience implementing ETL (or ELT) best practices at scale.
• Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, AWS glue, ADF, dbt)
• Experience with cloud computing (e.g... Azure, AWS)
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g. Alation, Colibra) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar fields
