We are looking to hire structural Inspection engineers for the steel plant. Structural engineers are expected to be detail-oriented, possess graduate in Mechanical/Civil, NDT qualification, Welding Inspection/Survey Inspection with suitable work experience (Lead Engineer-10+years, Inspection engineeris-5+ years) in hardcore structural Inspection field only.

Structural engineers should display an investigative nature and must be accurate and have good communication skills with a keen interest in ensuring the safety and physical integrity of buildings and other large structures, knowledge of construction processes, various Inspection techniques, Advance technologies in the field of Inspection, materials & plant safety aspects.

Inspection Engineer (Structural) Responsibilities:

1) Shall be over-all responsible for the implementation of the work procedures at site.

2) Responsible to ensure that the entire downline team including vendor employees must be aware of standard procedures... and to ensure that all approved resources (labor, material, and equipment) are available to carry out the work as planned, prior to start the work.

3) Shall also be responsible to assign the appropriate job to the vendor partners. Give clear direction as to what needs to be done, make sure safety measures are implemented and communicate with shop managers / shop In-Charge throughout all work process.

4) Shall be able to make standard documentations i.e., Manual /check sheet/NCR/Review Mechanism

5) Shall be responsible to carry out the work as per approved SOP and maintain the compliance for inspection.

6) Shall also be responsible for overall quality of the work and correctness of the same.

7) Shall be responsible to ensure implementation of standard work practices, safe work execution for the job and responsible for the submission of report on time by vendors and uploading the same in SAP.

9) Accessibility checking of various structural members

10) Visual inspection for any need-based Inspection call.

11) Reviewing of vendor reports for correctness

12) Regular site visits for monitor &Inspect work done by vendors/Site toolbox talk/safety mass meeting

13) Advance coordination with various shop for optimum utilization of shop SD.

Structural Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Civil engineering (essential).

• Relevant years of work experience in structural Inspection only. (essential).

• Experience in project management. (optional)

• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, Inspection techniques, NDT (essential)

• Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.

• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
