Tasks and role overview:

As Senior Category Manager for Consumables & Accessories for Dish Care, Fabric Care, and SDA products, you will:

· Be part of a completely new global category management set-up and play a crucial role in creating new processes and ways of working to bring consumables & accessories from product idea to market introduction.

· Operate within a network of a diverse set of professionals from all functions (R&D, design, marketing, legal, sales organizations etc.) and play a crucial role in establishing a new category in the organization & aligning senior stakeholder groups onto your path.

· Develop product, business, and marketing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

· Deliver global C&A Care platforms, building strong networks with stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial feasibility as well as best-in-class launch execution.

· Analyze market, consumer, professional, and competitive data, translating them into winning portfolio... strategies and product solutions.

· Create & align budgets for the category, PMO, R&D, and content creation, achieving stakeholder alignment and ensuring delivery within timelines.

· Identify opportunities for complexity reduction and cost-out, initiating actions to reduce SKUs and product cost-out investigations.

· Review financial results and instigate actions for P&L improvements, follow up with the controlling community and sales organizations on action plans.

Skills and Knowledge:

· Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

· Demonstrated experience in category management.

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insightful conclusions and make data-driven decisions.

· Prior experience in the consumer goods / household appliances industry.

· Excellent influencing skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

· Experience in the internal sales process of introducing new products to local sales teams in a market.

· Project leadership experience, preferably in an international environment.

· Basic engineering knowledge and ability to read drawings/3D sketches to communicate with R&D, industrial design, and manufacturing units is a plus.

· Fluent proficiency in English.
