This is a part-time position. 8 to 16 hours per week. Flexible schedule.

Experience in a manufacturing environnement required.

Position Responsibilities:
• Prepare & Print files using Photoshop, InDesign, and other RIP Software.
• Design, layout & Print large format files using Photoshop, InDesign, & other RIP Software Fiery (Mimaki & HP)
• Ensure high standards of print quality.
• Operation of all Wide Format Printers.
• Works closely with marketing and production departments to deliver all orders in a timely manner.
• Highly conscious of minimizing material waste as much as possible (based on standard roll sizes).
• Ongoing printing of color swatches for color approval by art department before sending any file to print (with appropriate sign-offs).
• Scanning, filing and color correcting of artwork to create high-resolution digital print files.
• Lifting of various size rolls of canvas to load/offload on printing... machines (i.e. 60lbs).
• Strong file organization and archiving skills.
• Communicating with department supervisor regularly on daily status of work.
• Ability to function independently and responsibly.
• Understanding that balance between speed and quality is essential to this role.
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance (cleaning) on printing machines & ordering of supplies as needed (inks cartridges, paper/canvas supply, etc). Cleaning of Surroundings and Dust Free Kept area of Machines.
• PLAN AHEAD & SET-UP JOBS in advance while orders are printing.
• Other duties as assigned
