We are looking for an Employee & Labour Relations Manager for our Contract Logistics division/office based in Mississauga. Your Role
The Employee & Labour Relations Manager leads the development of all employee and labour relations matters for Kuehne+Nagel Canada. This strategic role will ensure alignment with our values and Kuehne+Nagel behaviours, reflect industry best practices, and partner as an important advisor on employee relations. The Employee & Labour Relations Manager is a subject matter expert concerning human resources, employment risk, legislative compliance, and can implement change for both our unionised and non-unionised employee groups. Your Responsibilities
• Help develop the labour relations and employee relations strategy, and contribute, along with the HR leadership team, to HR’s operational and strategic goals.
• Ensure execution of the labour relations and employee relations strategic plans, including training, development and work with Human Resources Business... Partners
• Conduct research, consult with clients/team members, facilitate group discussions concerning labour relations and employee relations topics
• Support team members with grievance, complaints and conflict resolutions and represent us at arbitration/board hearings
• Advise and assist HR and site managers to improve and meet our goals of establishing policies for engaging and sound employee relations.
• Provide guidance on issues respecting human resources and employee relations management, collective agreements (negotiation, information, application), performance matters, workplace investigations, grievances, complaints and arbitration issues, organisational change, labour relations-related legislation and regulations, etc.
• Develop labour relations and employee relations KPI’s
• Partner with legal counsel on employee and labour relations matters

Your Skills and Experiences
• 5+ years of recent and related labour relations experience working with an organisation comprised of unionised and non-unionised workplaces
• Demonstrated experience leading collective agreement negotiations
• Broad knowledge of employment legislation: Labour Relations Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, etc.
• University Degree or completion of a Post Graduate / Diploma Program in Human Resources or related discipline.
