This person will report directly to the Mining Manager with responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
• Prepare monthly and three-monthly rolling mine plans to ensure site alignment with quarterly forecasts and yearly budget;
• Optimize the extraction of mineralized zones and minimize dilution;
• Understand, monitor and develop geotechnical site requirements;
• Optimize pit and dump designs using established design parameters and pit development strategies;
• Assist with strategic mine planning and development of assumptions and schedules for quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets;
• Prepare daily and weekly mine plans to ensure alignment with three-month rolling plan;
• Prepare clearly written monthly reports and other documentation on required frequencies;
• Assure safe working practices and environment, cooperate with other departments in safety programs; and
• Maintain constructive and effective working relationships with Company employees, contractors and... consultants
