Graphic Designer is needed for an established shopfitting and design company based in Cape Town

Candidate Requirements
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be computer literate with expert-level knowledge of Adobe Suite and SketchUp
• Solutions-oriented, a can-do attitude and high energy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Work experience as a graphic designer
• A strong portfolio of successful design work
• A graphic design qualification or similar
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Job Description
• Develop design concepts from brief with revisions as... required
• Create visual assets to be used in campaigns and printed materials
• Ensure unified, client-centered approach to visual solutions
• Working with brand guidelines, produce original, provocative, and engaging visual content that support larger campaign goals
• Exhibit designing competencies by preparing rough sketches for the projects
• Communicate with clients about layout and design
• Complete rendering
• Remain updated with the current and latest methodologies and technologies
• Develop close communication between supply partners and other personnel of the organization
• Prepare print and cut files for production
• Make sure elements is delivered within the timeframe of the undertaken projects
• Calculate the total period of time required for completing the project
• Reporting to the managing director and project manager to ensure projects are planned and completed on time, to the required standards
