The Salesforce Project Manager/System Analyst will serve as a member of the Global IT Group and be a representative for the Latin America based business partners. Reporting to the IT Director Group Commercial Operations and America’s Liaison, you will be supporting the Salesforce implementations in Brazil and Mexico with... Level 1 and Level 2 support. That includes full stack analysis and troubleshooting Salesforce, JDE ERP, Middleware Integration, and SQL issues for sales orders and sales routine processes during Mexican business hours of operation. You will need to be a hands-on Salesforce user (have license) and have JDE experience to understand and trouble shoot issues.

As a Salesforce Project Manager/System Analyst, you will establish and maintain relationships with business process owners to understand business processes and effectively trouble shoot issues. You will be working in a global environment, whereby you are in close contact with stakeholders at all multiple levels of the organization, giving you the opportunity to build a strong network across functions and further develop your personal and professional goals. The Salesforce Project Manager/System Analyst will need to be able to understand business requirements, translating them into IT requirements to build information systems, recommend JDE system changes, and implement bug fixes and system enhancement changes. 

What You’ll Do

Lead Planning and/or implementation of Salesforce and JDE projects. Participate in the architecture, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and/or support phases.

Follow defined, agreed upon project management methodology (SDLC, Waterfall and Agile).

Work closely with Salesforce and JDE architects, technical teams, functional analysts, and business team members to investigate day to day issues. Deliver project scope, and provide solutions

Manage Service Now queue providing Salesforce, JDE, Middleware Integration, SQL, and .NET Level 1 and Level 2 support

Manage dispersed Latin and North American technical and business team for the resolution of incidents to achieve SLA and for small projects including life cycle releases

Manage incoming project requests including working to develop time and resource estimate including obtaining bids from external partners

Works cross functionally to solve problems and implement changes

Design and validate solutions independently and coordinate with the business and global counterparts to ensure the proposed solutions fit into the global strategy and application framework 

Use Salesforce experience to develop accurate work estimates, project budgets and timelines with technical project resources

Responsibility for identifying required project staff based upon their technical and functional expertise including monitoring and mentoring them through the Project lifecycle

Exercise required project delivery controls and propose improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment

Develop and maintain written business requirements documents and technical design specification documents

Conduct requirements-gathering activities and stakeholder interviews 

Assist with Deployment of Global applications/processes 

Ability to manage and coordinate integration handoffs to multiple teams

Write support tickets for an outsourced and remote Salesforce service provider, providing enough detail so that Salesforce and/or JDE tasks are clearly articulated

Manage remote provider until work is completed to quality guidelines

Assist with performing end to end testing and support 

Function as a trusted business partner on functional issues and interact with colleagues at all levels

Proactively manage 3 Salesforce releases per year working with cross-functional teams on integration and understanding roadmap where there may or may not be issues based upon new Salesforce functionality

Assist in quality control and project management activities 

Qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as - Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, or Business Analytics required 

5+ years of IT leadership experience and 7+ years working in complex IT environments

5+ years implementing and supporting Salesforce CRM & customer facing solutions

5+ years technical / software development experience

Strong understanding of Salesforce.com Platform and best practices

Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP type systems a plus

Experience with API and integration technologies, including REST, JSON, and XML

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

Salesforce Sales Cloud Administrator certification strongly preferred (or other demonstration of in-depth Salesforce knowledge and experience).

A minimum of 5 years of related experience (business analyst roles that touch on systems, software implementation, developer work, applications support, project management focused on systems, etc.) required 

Strong analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

SQL & .NET experience is a plus

Ability to speak English, Spanish and preferably Portuguese

Proven experience working with Microsoft Teams (document administration) and JIRA (project management)
