Novigenix is an innovative and dynamic Swiss precision medicine company specialized in Immuno-Transcriptomic (ITO) solutions for the detection of disease and therapy optimization, focusing on helping conquer cancer globally with its Immuno-transcriptomics data analysis platform. Novigenix is currently involved in several projects in oncology to improve patient’s outcome, analyzing patients’ longitudinal Immune profiling data based on advanced machine learning tools.

Summary

To support various development programs, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated scientist with interdisciplinary background in immuno-oncology and computer sciences. The candidate will join a cross-functional, enthusiastic, dynamic teamand work closely with biomarker and data scientists.

Responsibilities
• Use combined knowledge... of computer science, to solve problems and to analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
• Establish project plans to validate newly generated hypotheses in both internal and public transcriptomic datasets.
• Apply data analysis methods on extracted data from multiple sources to characterize relevant signals and to answer specific biological questions in the context of immuno-oncology.
• Collaborate with the biomarker scientist on the functional analysis of blood transcriptomic data, including running and improving the analytical pipelines.
• Contribute to other scientific activities related to transcriptomics data analysis as required.

Skills & Requirements

· PhD in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Sciences or related fields

· Hands on experience on statistical programming languages like R, a must

· Knowledge (or degree) in immunology or oncology, an asset

· Previous experience in Cell Deconvolution or Public Data mining, a plus

· Good command in English (writing and speaking, C1 level)

· Excellent interpersonal skills and communication

· Motivated and eager to learn
