OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

To provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and other relevant Departments and partners in I.R. Iran as well as participation in capacity building activities, setting policies and strategies and development of operational protocols, liaison with the MoHME and partners at national and regional levels to strengthen national preparedness and response capacity, facilitate implementation of International Health Regulations (IHR 2005) and Sendai Framework for resilient health system and health security.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

The incumbent will perform the following duties:
• Ensure timely and proper implementation of WHO activities in the area of Country Health Emergency Preparedness, Response & IHR in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other sectors
