The Walmart design team creates experiences and designs the websites, tools, and mobile solutions for millions of customers and associates. As a part of the product design team that is at the forefront of retail, you will be responsible for building best-in-class experiences that drive continuous improvement and innovation on the world’s largest company. As a Product Designer in the Merchandising area, you will be directly involved in designing solutions for our Merchants and Suppliers. This area covers all the tools our vendors use to provide Walmart with the world's best prices and allows buyers to strategize on the variety and quality of Walmart’s items. You will be tasked with designing various experiences for our suppliers to help them make the most of selling through Walmart. In addition, you will be tasked with designing experiences for the strategy, negotiations, channels, and inventory distribution across the retail landscape.

• Have experience in merchandising or Big Data design.

Preferred qualifications:
• Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 2+ years of experience in product design, or a Masters degree.
• Have a fantastic portfolio of elegant design solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$156,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 4 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
