JOB SUMMARY

Requirements for the PositionQualificationsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication or public relations or any other related field At least two (0-2) years of NGO or CSO experience in project implementation or management in Kenya. Experience working in Coastal Kenya is an asset Strong and proven ability in report writing, in English Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as social media platforms Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders Ability to maintain professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm while working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with minimal supervision Cultural sensitivity and strong interest in dialogue, peacebuilding and conflict transformationWritten and oral proficiency in English and Swahili Knowledge to understand local and global digital landscape... trends Proficient in audio, Video and Graphics production Ability to take professional photographs Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable Proficiency in Somali and French Languages is an added advantage Proficiency in DME skills is an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Assist in implementing Search For Common Ground Media strategy.● Prepare social media packs for flagship events, initiatives, and campaigns● Generate and analyze reports on social media traffic.● Attend field activities and compile visibility stories for Social Media ● Assist Media Officer in conducting Social Media Listening● Any other assignment may be delegated
