Role PurposeIn line with IHG s ambition to become owners and investors preferred brand choice the role is to support the creation development planning and delivery of the EMEAA-wide Development Marketing strategy with a focus on the IMEA Business Unit The role focuses on the design and execution of a broad range of engagement activities the creation of marketing assets and solutions to drive IHG awareness strengthen owners relationships and support the IHG s Development team in pitching and successfully sign new hotels deals and retain existing ones Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment Marketing amp Development deal support Work closely with the IMEA Development team to understand key priorities which would in turn inform the broader EMEAA Development Marketing plan and tactics Liaise with the EMEAA Development Planning amp Performance Manager to ensure alignment on market priorities and performance Directly responsible for sourcing developing and maintaining relevant content that supports... IHG Development strategy including brand decks brochures case studies fact sheets etc by working directly with the Development team to fully understand content needs Serve as a point of contact for Development resources across the IMEA Business Unit for data and marketing Responsible for updating all the documents available on the Showpad app and any other relevant tool which is used as the central tool to ensure timely distribution of content to the entire EMEAA-wide Development team Ensure relevant marketing channels are identified and maintained to increase Owner and Investors reach Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team and other functions as appropriate to understand outline concept and recommend design and creative solutions that have the most impact considering the diverse audiences brands and delivery methods Devise and execute against all steps in the design process from concept through production for all Development Marketing collateral in partnership with the broader EMEAA Development Marketing team to build and share best practices and resources across the region Monitor and update the content available on the EMEAA regional site of the Development marketing website to ensure its relevance and overall appeal to an external audience Liaise with creative agencies as required to support development of content and the distribution platform Work in partnership with the Developers to customize the content of pitch presentations for high value deals to ensure this is relevant and most impactful to the target audience Owner Events Work with the IMEA Regional Head of Development and the Comms team to identify key industry and ad-hoc owner events in the region Responsible for the planning conceptualizing including submitting graphic visual amp design proposals delivery and ROI assessment of industry events in the IMEA Region ensure content and proposals are regionally relevant and in line with the broader IMEA growth strategy Responsible for managing and delivering regional ad-hoc Owner events and Development internal meetings Support the broader EMEAA Events agenda at times of high demand for the Development Marketing team Work in partnership with the Communication amp Brand teams to ensure all the material conceptualized for owner events are in line with the comms narrative and brand positioning Key Skills amp ExperiencesEducation Bachelor s Degree or above in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in Marketing PR Brand professional services and or a consultancy environment real estate marketing B2B experience considered advantageous Experience 5 years Of writing documents reports and presentations for a sophisticated commercially aware audience Of stakeholder management Of planning and structuring business analysis Of designing and writing compelling and visually attractive documents across a range of medium PPT InDesign Adobe Technical Skills and Knowledge Excellent written English Arabic language proficiency strongly preferred Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks clients in a highly dynamic and changing environment is required Strong level of personal and professional integrity Proficiency with Microsoft Office web-based applications and an openness to learning and adapting to new technology Knowledge of InDesign Photoshop Adobe Creative Suite Basic HTML is preferred Strong conceptualization and design skills and awareness of how new technologies can help achieve presentation objectives Creative detail-oriented organized flexible and reliable Sensitivity to issues related to geographical cultural and language differences that are often present in an international setting and would impact on the customization of the presentation to a specific audience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly change directions based on business needs and changing priorities Able to work independently and under tight deadline Able to establish and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through the use of strong influencer analytical negotiation communication and consensus-building skills
