About the schools

Teaching Nomad has been selected as the official recruitment agency by the Education Bureau Hong Kong for the Native-speaking English Teachers recruitment drive in Hong Kong. Recruitment in Canada for 2022/2023 school year will occur in Vancouver. Candidates must be able to interview in Vancouver at our pre-arranged location.

• Type of school: This job order is for public-sector primary schools and schools for students with Special Education Needs (SEN) in Hong Kong. Secondary school teachers should apply here

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• You will teach English as a second language to local Hong Kong students
• You will assist in teacher and curriculum development in public-sector primary schools

About the contract
• Contract: 2 year, renewable
• Salary of approx. 31,000 - 61,000 HKD/month
• Passage, baggage, medical allowances and a special allowance of HK $20,989 per month are provided for eligible appointees whose normal place of residence is established as outside Hong Kong, and if he/she or his/her spouse is not receiving any similar benefits.
• Retention incentive for satisfactory completion of continuous service in the NET Scheme from third year onwards.
• End of contract gratuity for satisfactory performance and conduct
• Work Visa supported

About you
• Preferred qualifications. Candidates meeting these qualifications will be processed first:
• BA degree in English or related subject
• Recognized teacher training qualification in primary education
• TEFL Certification (with teaching practice component)
