We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support with critical reporting, data analytics, forecasting and planning. Consolidating all the branches into one coherent financial package summary and reviewing trends to help make sound business decisions and identifying key focus areas or levers to pull.

Purpose:
• Responsible for financial analysis of business activity and development of business plans, outlooks and assessments. Includes analysis of projected capital investments.
• Responsible for complex functions such as budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. May also analyze capital expenditure viability including but not limited to analysis of return on investment, net present value, lease/purchase, and pay back. Makes recommendations to management based on findings.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepares financial and business-related analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investments
• Analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, financial trends and operating forecasts
• Performs financial forecasting, variance analysis of actual vs. forecast and reconciliation of internal accounts
• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
• Reviews and present financials (including base case analysis and pricing) for new business prospects
• Maintains and analyses rolling sales trend analysis reports for all revenue streams
• Creates and analyses equipment & aftermarket outcost pricing schedules
• Creates and analyses monthly, quarterly and annual sales reporting required by customers & group purchasing organizations

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent is highly preferred
• Three (3) to five (5) years prior experience in a public accounting firm or business environment
• Computer/technology savvy with strong advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of SQL, SQL Queries, Macros, Power Query, PowerPivot is a Plus
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Able to work effectively within tight time constraints
