Your opportunity

This role will support the Horticultural Coordinator and Manager oversee and lead the growing fruit packing and box erection process to ensure that production targets are met in a safe and timely manner. The Supervisor will lead a diverse team to provide excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business through effective job scheduling, collaboration with growers, adherence to quality requirements and facilitating production efficiency to meet customer expectations.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprises team providing meaningful employment opportunities, whilst balancing social and commercial sustainability targets.

What this role looks like?
• Works collaboratively with management and other team leaders, coaching and sharing knowledge whilst modelling positive team relationships that reflect the Aruma BRAVE values.
• Plans and coordinates resources to ensure production targets are achieved and compliant with relevant regulations.
•... Ensures appropriate leadership, coaching and training to supported employees and other staff as required.
• Ensures production processes are timely and maintaining a quality standard of product.
• Adapts communication style to suit different needs and situations to resolve complex and sensitive matters effectively.
• Develops positive relationships both internal and external stakeholders to build a strong network of people.

About You
• A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct
• Demonstrated experience in leading production processes and achieving production targets
• Excellent customer relation skills to enhance Summerland Farm reputation and encourage repeat business
• Experience managing Food Safety Standards or relevant quality standards e.g., HACCAP or Freshcare
• Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work of a team
• Able to effectively communicate with a range of people with diverse needs
• Sound computer skills (MS Office) and ability to effectively utilise databases for reporting and coordination
