Junior Web Developer

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer will the following skills -
• Good working knowledge of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, and browser capabilities. You can write clean, self-documenting, semantic HTML.
• Good working knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass with a BEM methodology), and bundling tools such as Gulp or Webpack.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, JQuery, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging using Web Developer Tools to test performance and debug JavaScript issues.
• Experience working with version control tools (such as GitHub or Bitbucket).
• Experience using project management software tools (such as Trello or Asana).
• A strong sense of code quality, longevity, and flexibility.
• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative... Cloud. This is a bonus to have but not essential.
• Knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, and other CMS systems. This is a bonus to have but not essential.
• Able to write high-quality code with a sharp eye for spotting errors and converting designs exactly.
• Well-organised and can manage your time and priorities working towards meeting deadlines.
• A team player and an excellent communicator, who will be able to both give and receive constructive feedback during internal project reviews.
• Be able to assist the SEO team to develop/optimise sites for search engines.
