The Opportunity

As the Driver, you will be... responsible for driver for driving Activity vehicles, mainly to transport team members to field locations, events and other venues as needed.

Core Responsibilities
• Drive Activity vehicles throughout Timor Leste for project work. While in vehicle, ensure the safety of passengers and vehicle at all times and adhere to stringent organizational policies and regulations regarding driving and vehicle use.
• Clean and maintain Activity vehicles – responsible for keeping vehicles in pristine condition, adhering to strict maintenance routines and ensuring that any defect is acted upon immediately.
• Act as a representative of the Activity, at all times being responsive and providing courteous support to visitors, clients and partners.
• Maintain the vehicle log to record fuel consumption, mileage log, repairs and maintenance and other reports required by the supervisor and/or designate.
• Monitor and process vehicle registration document.
• Carry out any other lawful duties necessary to accomplish Activity objectives as assigned by the supervisor and/or designate.

What We Value

Preferred Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Over 6 years driving experience, with at least 3 years working professionally as a driver. Experience with donor-funded projects is preferred
• Strong defensive and 4wd driving skills
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Presentable and able to interact professionally with partners and clients.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma + Two years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree
