Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Market Research Executive/Specialist to join ourawesome marketing team! As a Market Research Executive/Specialist at our company, you will becompiling key trends, market activity, threats and opportunities based on continuous monitoring of theexternal market. You need to be fully informed on market trends, other parties research andimplement best practices and predict future trends that might affect the Company.

Responsibilities:
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, and industry research,identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and method of operation and collectdata on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionableitems, reports and presentations.
• Research and analyse market trends to determine market needs.
• Engage with third-party research companies to obtain market insights reports.
• Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
• Perform SWOT analysis on current market activity.
• Research on major competitors to gain insight into their business strategies.
• Gather information from social media updates, competitor websites, customer surveys, patentdatabases, etc.
• Organize and maintain research databases.
• Document, report, and present research findings to management or team lead.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Economic/Statistic/DataScience/Business Studies or equivalent
• Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
• Familiarity with key economic and statistical concepts, good analytical ability and a keen senseof organising and compiling data
• Rigorous attention to details
• Self-driven, quick learner, multitasking, independent, and able to work under pressure andtight schedules
• Prior experience in data research and maintenance of a time-series database will be an addedadvantage

Remuneration:
MYR 4,000 - MYR 7,000

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday |10 am to 7 pm
