We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Payments SDK product area with the mission to offer a first-class Payments SDK as the primary entry point to Zettle’s payments offering and in-store experience. The SDK product fuels Zettle’s own Point of Sales offering and is also a business-critical offering to our external solution partners looking to integrate Zettle’s award-winning payment products to their solutions.

Job Description:

As a Senior Product Manager, you own the roadmap for the Zettle Payments SDK offering. You will be required to align with internal stakeholders to ensure that all relevant payment options offered by Zettle are represented in a unified way in the SDK, both from the product & tech perspective.

You will be required to have a clear understanding of our partner’s needs today and in the future. You will define and execute the product strategy, and ensure it is aligned with broader company strategies. In doing so you will have a pulse on the in-store payments industry and work closely with the commercial organization to ensure the right product market fit. You will be part of the journey growing Zettle’s partner business and contributing to the overall Zettle partnership strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Know your customers: Understand our partners needs as well as the needs of their customers, both today and in the future, and turn that knowledge into product opportunities.
• Vision, strategy, and prioritisation: You will contribute to the product area’s vision and roadmap. In doing so, you need to understand “what is important” and contribute to making the right choices and priorities. You will own the product narrative towards the development teams and prioritize their backlogs.
• Communication: You are responsible that your product roadmap and priorities are well grounded and communicated to all relevant stakeholders, primarily other product teams, commercial teams, customers, and leaders within Zettle and the PayPal enterprise. You will be required to collaborate with geographically distributed teams in different time zones.
• Grow yourself and the team: Being a senior Product Manager requires a strong self-confidence as well as the ability to influence, lead, and inspire other individuals. This job is an ever-ongoing journey of dialog, discovery, and learning.

Who you are:

A successful candidate should demonstrate a thorough domain expertise in the payments space. You are an experienced Product Manager comfortable with managing products with a high degree of technical complexity. You are proactive and highly self-sufficient, you thrive in fast moving environments, and you inspire and lead people through change. As you will be interfacing with many different stakeholders, both from within the PayPal organization as well as external partners and customers, you are expected to exercise strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

The skills that set you apart
• Extensive experience as a product manager.
• A proven track record of developing customer facing APIs and SDKs.
• Thorough understanding of agile software development processes, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation. Experience from Jira / Atlassian is a plus.
• General client-side / mobile development & platform experience (iOS & Android)
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak fluently to engineers, UX designers, business managers and partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and happy to work in a team environment.
