AIG’s ‘Financial Customer Protection Internal Control’ is responsible for overall... work of consumer protection matters such as consumer satisfaction and internal control, in accordance with the Financial Consumer Protection Act and related laws. The team ensures an operating environment that minimizes legal, regulatory risks with compliance to applicable laws, regulations and AIG policies and procedures. As a manager, you are respected for financial consumer protection and enhancing the trust of financial consumers by stipulating and managing the AIG Korea’s internal control standards for protecting financial consumers. About the role: Key Responsibilities Development of internal processes and guidelines for consumer protection. Monitoring and supervision of consumer protection throughout each stage of product development life cycle. Development and execution of internal/external training programs. Role and Responsibility of Financial Customer Internal Control is monitoring of sales practices to comply with the Financial Customer Protection Act's mandate make accountability Ensure adherence with all reporting requirements Supervision and management of the team. Establishing strategies of sanction. Responding to external authorities and Report. Solicitation Internal Controls & Compliance Solicitation monitoring (false contract etc.) Improper solicitation investigation & Disciplinary rules review Sales Commission payment & claw-back rules review Agency Compliance monitoring & evaluation Other solicitation compliance related matters. Develop and maintain strong personal and professional relationships with clients Strong Communication skills with various stakeholders and senior leaders What we’re looking for: Key Capabilities: Deep technical understanding of the respective product line and ability to recognize market opportunities and sales practice. Capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external parties. Highly people-oriented with management skills and experience of direction setting and ability to work across organizational boundaries Strong leadership capabilities Experience of business analysis, process analysis Strong analytical skills and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment making quick decisions while adhering to sound underwriting discipline. Key Experience: Minimum 7 years’ working experience, preferably in the insurance/financial industry. High proficiency in English & Korean, both spoken and written, and high presentation skill for senior management. Having experience in the compliance, operations and claims, sales.
