The Role In your role as a UX Designer, you will assist the UX Design Manager in defining the vision for leading and growing a multidisciplinary design development team. Collaborate with designers to help align and support a multi-offering enterprise platform while fostering a design-thinking culture. As part of your role, you will be challenging and pushing the organization's existing UX design systems further - continuously identifying opportunities for expansion and... enhancement.
Ensure customer-centricity across multiple workstreams, while executing with integrity and speed. Take responsibility and collaborate as needed to maintain a "can do" attitude.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing world-class designs aligned with the Aspen "Simplicity" vision. Your Impact Create user flows, user journeys and page flows to create a clear path for our portfolio.
Collaborate with development, and product management teams to produce compelling, data-driven designs.
Create wireframes, storyboards, surveys, and digital prototypes to effectively communicate your design ideas.
Identify complex design problems and devise elegant solutions.
Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
Execute pin-pointed research on new design paradigms, persona creation, and leverage industry standards.
Help develop overall design systems that leverage existing brand guidelines.
Work on fast-paced projects, requiring attention to detail within constrained timelines.
Epitomize flexibility coupled with a passion for owning and forcing outcomes.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and processes that improve the overall User Experience and accelerate product delivery.
What You'll Need A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related visual art field
Good understanding of usability design best practices
2-3+ years’ experience with developing enterprise software
Experience leading a small team of designers
Self-driven nature. Ability to leading and collaborate well within the team as well as with development and product management
A systems-thinker, able to extrapolate and extend shared patterns/behaviors
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD)
Experienced knowledge of the major industry tools, including Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Figma.
Eye for clean, visually impactful designs that are current and fresh
Ability to integrate Lean UX into Agile Development practices
Hands on experience with front-end development; HTML5, CSS and JavaScript a plus
Collaborative working style focused on getting the best solution rather than your solution
Experience in ethnographic research and working directly with Customers to execute usability studies
A portfolio of work
English fluency (written and verbal) required
Experience working with US companies is a plus
