We require forward-thinking outstanding and skilled lead practitioner of geography, who shares a common passion for teaching and learning, improving provision and outcomes for children

Successful applicants need to:

a) an excellent teacher of geography

b) demonstrate an excellent leadership record and provide evidence of impact;

c) be highly motivated with a successful track record of working with a wide range of staff, children, and families;

d) show a commitment to and enjoyment of geography within and beyond the curriculum

e) have the vision, creativity, drive, and enthusiasm to develop teachers in the department

f) be able to communicate effectively and have a repertoire of inter-personal skills which motivate, lead, support, and challenge other colleagues; and

g) be committed to the safeguarding of children.
