Infra Architect

Summary
• Analyse existing systems to ensure security and efficacy.
• Maintain and upgrade software, hardware, and networks as needed.
• Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business needs.
• Design, review and integrate new systems.
• Provide infrastructure architecture leadership.
• Engage stakeholders, understand their needs, and then translate those needs into a minimum viable product.
• Provide ongoing advice to projects around technical solutions, best practices, and efficiencies.
• Continuous review of current environment to detect deficiencies, recommend, plan and implement solutions for improvement.
• Develop, implement and practice a robust, quantitative technology evaluation process.
• Review design documents to ensure that they follow the standards.
• Facilitate, communicate, collaborate and persuade others in defining, adopting and implementing a coherent technical architecture.
• Maintain awareness and... expertise of the latest cloud and infrastructure, orchestration, and automation visualization technologies.
• Evolve current legacy network service and solution offerings into next generation capabilities aligned to new and emerging business needs.
• Interact with specialists and get their contribution to integrations, securing the application and migration of application as well as data to cloud.
• Drive innovation and improve performance of the applications in scope.
• Provide recommendations and implement ways to modernize technology to meet business demands in a cost-effective manner.

What You'll Do
• * 10+ years’ experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.
• Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by others.
• Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.
• Experience in infrastructure estimation, tuning and optimization.
• Experience in following technologies
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Terraform
• Ansible
• Github Actions
• Virtualization
• OS (Linux and Windows)
• Experience in enterprise architecture using cloud native technologies.
• Database (RDBMS/No SQL) server optimization
• Hands on experience with GCP/AWS.
• Hands on experience with architecture of enterprise application. Preference is use of following stack
• Java
• MongoDB
• Redis/RabbitMQ
• ELK stack
• Knowledge of architecture principles and methodologies
• Experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction
• Possess any additional certifications (one or more) for the design/development of distributed solutions on a leading infrastructure platform such as: GCP, AWS, CKA, CCNA, RHLA, VM Ware
