Now we’re looking to add a new Designer/Estimator to our team: someone who will optimize our operations while ensuring seamless delivery of our full range of landscaping services.

That’s where you come in:
As our new Designer/Estimator, you’ll be responsible for designing, estimating and selling residential and commercial landscape projects.

A big part of achieving that will involve your exceptional communication and analytic skills. In terms... of communication your work will focus on forging excellent customer relations: building trust with new clients and continuing the exceptional service that is who we are.. Analytically, you’ll be responsible for determining how to build projects efficiently, pricing jobs to sell while maintaining profitability..

No matter who you’re talking to or what you’re working on, you’re a direct and effective leader: you inspire trust and confidence in the team and clients alike.

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on day-to-day:
• Respond to and qualify client prospect leads.
• Meet with client prospect and determine their wants and needs for landscape projects.
• Design, quote and sell projects to both residential and commercial clients.
• Assist Landscape division manager in delivering projects by managing client expectations during construction.
• Keep track of production rates during construction to help with future quotes.

Here are some of the things you’ll be working to achieve:
• Meet monthly/annual sales targets
• Sales closing ratio of at least 45%
• Project gross margin of at least 50%
• Quarterly and annual Team Goals

Working with Wright Landscape Services Inc.:
This is a full-time, permanent position. In addition to a competitive starting salary—between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, (even more with our profit sharing program)—you’ll also get a good benefits package and good work/life balance.

Qualifications:

· Must have orbe working towards a Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Landscape Design or Landscape Architecture.

· Must have orbe working toward a CLD certification or Landscape Architect Designation.

· A minimum of 5 years working in an office environment.

· A minimum of 3 years field experience, either in maintenance or landscape construction
• Technical expertise in both hard and soft landscaping services, and familiarity with all related equipment
• Strong computer skills, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel, AutoCAD or Dynascape as well as LMN
• Relevant equipment and safety certifications, including WHMIS, CPR, and First Aid

Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
