responsibilities

Guarantees 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation (e.g.: statutory accounting standards, tax law, civil law) and internal group accounting guidelines

Review of contracts from tax and accounting perspective

SAP deployment (FI-CO): support to chief accountant

Testing of all accounting processes during the Test Period

Assures timely submission of the monthly and annual closings

Performs reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and other MEC activities

Executes all relates aspects of intercompany charge and settlement

Manages the AP & AR ledgers

Maintains the general ledger

Perform day to day processing of accounting transactions to ensure that account level finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner

Within area of expertise, applies problem solving and understanding of financial processes to coordinate transaction entry, verification and deliver resolution

Assists the Chief accountant in managing the year end audit... process and the external auditors

Review of statistics and tax reports

Deferred tax calculation

Supports the Chief accountant in establishing an effective tax management

experience Needed

Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar organization

Vast knowledge of all local tax regulations, IFRS

IT literate and SAP knowledge

A structured and well-organized individual

Must be self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment

education requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance

Proficient Excel user
