About You:

You are an experienced SAP Consultant with expertise in Downtime Analysis for Migration Projects when moving from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. You will be responsible for analyzing and identifying downtime requirements during the migration process, working closely with the project team to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process.

• Conduct downtime analysis for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, identifying requirements and risks, and proposing mitigation strategies to minimize downtime.

• Work closely with the project team to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to minimize downtime and avoid disruption to business operations.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to develop, execute, and document downtime procedures.

• Participate in the planning and execution of the migration project, including coordination of system cutovers and testing.

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to downtime analysis, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

• Document all downtime procedures, risks, and mitigation strategies in a clear and concise manner.

• Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets, and communicate progress updates to stakeholders.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP consulting, with expertise in downtime analysis for migration projects.

• Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, modules, and processes.

• Experience with SAP data migration tools, including LSMW and SAP Data Services.

• Solid understanding of SAP landscape architecture and system configuration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required & Nice to have Skills:

Must Haves:

• Downtime analysis. Based on Trial Migrations, assist Client in analysis of Downtime:

o Deep dive on balancing minimizing downtime vs risk

o Establish measurement for downtime (mostly relevant for PS)

o Deep dive on Ramp-up/Hypercare planning

o Freeze Period definition (duration and change allowance)

Nice to Have / Your chance to grow

• a stronghold in one of the following areas: Downtime Analysis, Hyper Care planning

• Prior domain experience from Life Sciences, Logistics and/or Manufacturing

• SAP certifications

• University degree
