POSITION SUMMARY
Business Resilience and Exercise Specialist is part of the team responsible for member engagement on business resilience projects and exercise development and execution at FS-ISAC and reports to the FS-ISAC Director for Global Business Resilience and collaborates closely with the Managing Director, EMEA. This position is characterized by strong Business Resilience and Exercise capabilities and project management skills. In Switzerland FS-ISAC has been awarded the contract to deliver the operational cores for the FS-CSC (Financial Services Cyber Security Centre). This role will focus on delivering those services to the Swiss membership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Work closely with FS-ISAC regional staff and Swiss FS-ISAC and FS-CSC and FS-CSC members and the global Business Resilience team to develop and maintain crisis management playbooks.
• Plan and hold Crisis Coordination and Decision-Making calls during significantly disruptive sector-level incidents, consolidating... the decisions for an after-action publication to the sector.
• Develop plausible all hazards disruption exercise scenarios, in support of the regional ex, in support of the regional exercise calendar, for the Swiss financial services sector focused on threats identified by FS-ISAC, FS-CSC and FS-CSC members.
• Support the development and design of exercise materials, such as: situation manuals, exercise plans, after action reports and other such documentation to support meeting and exercise facilitation.
• Prepare regular reporting on exercise program activities.
• Assist in the development and management of resource library to include: guides, playbooks, assessments, and analysis reports.
• This position may require some work out of normal business hours during events requiring sector crisis coordination.
• Travel from time to time (10%).
• Perform other assignments as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
• Knowledge of business resiliency exercising best practices, disaster recovery testing for physical and technology disruption events, or risk management.
• Knowledge of ISO or NIST standards for business continuity, testing, third party risk management and cybersecurity controls assessment.
• Strong public speaking skills; able to lead and facilitate meetings, working groups, and exercises as needed.
• Well-developed documentation skills building operational policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and quality control skills necessary to maintain documentation library expansion, integrity, and distribution routines.
• Highly developed prioritization skills with flexibility to expand workload and reorganize priorities.
• Analytical - Collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data.
• Business Acumen - Understands business implications of activities; to understand and learn business cultures from around the world
• Interpersonal skills - Effectively interacts with individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experience.
• Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification, in both English and German.

EDUCATION
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent.
• Project Management (Prince2 or PMP) qualification highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain a Swiss security clearance
This is a hybrid role. Candidate will need to be present for meetings in Zurich, Switzerland at least 2 days per week.
