Proclinical is partnering with a rapidly growing international consultancy with multiple locations across Switzerland. We are in search of a Chief Information Security Officer-as-a-Service (CISOaaS) to provide information security leadership from an appropriate pool of expertise and technical resources from within IT Governance. They are looking to find an accomplished and well-networked leader who will have a pivotal role in guiding their cybersecurity team and offering as well as further developing their business.

Responsibilities
• Define and maintain an ISMS (information security management system) and take a risk-driven approach to protect sensitive assets, supported by an in-house IT team.
• Manage business operations and information assets for the client, and ensures that security, resources and budgets are fully aligned to execute these priorities.
• Perform assessments to identify the regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements that the organisation must meet and... assist in the audit process in accordance with the standard framework.
• Conduct a threat assessment and identify what needs to be protected and the level of protection. Design a risk-based strategic roadmap to align cyber security efforts with corporate risk appetite.
• Select and implement threat detection and monitoring solutions, and integrate services delivered by third parties into a seamless framework.
• Monitor processes that safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and drive the overall security programme.
• Excellent stakeholder management and people skills, to manage internal cybersecurity engineering team and be able to communicate with C-level executives in a concise manner.

Skills and Requirements
• At least 7 years overall experience in a relevant industry ( Pharma, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics).
• At least 5 years of experience in senior management in a complex IT organisation encompassing service delivery, application development and IT infrastructure.
• A track record in the management and delivery of transformational security improvements across an organisation.
• Proven experience at engaging, influencing and managing stakeholders across departmental and organisational boundaries up to and including director/Vice Chancellor Executive level in English and German.
• Experienced in leading, developing and motivating a team of subject matter experts.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to challenge the norm.
• An excellent understanding of best practice within Information Security and risk management including standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, Cyber Essentials and COBIT.
• An excellent understanding of legislation and regulations that impact information Security.
