Job Description

Role: Innovation Project Manager

As an Innovation project manager @ Smart Products Lab responsible for delivering digital solutions, you will collaborate with innovations leaders and product teams on their product digitalization journey helping them integrate digital technologies to drive business model innovations.

Being a project manager, of course you will be required to manage and deliver projects at speed and on time and quality through a proactive approach to business priorities, planning and managing project requirements, schedules, risks and mitigation along with seamless communication to stakeholders

But to truly succeed in this role you should be able to:

· understand customer needs and engage customer throughout the project lifecycle through seamless collaboration and communications

· tech-savvy with an understanding of digital technologies and its implication to the business

· embrace agile principles and work in abstract dynamically changing context and create clarity for yourself and the team.

· coalesce and bring together distributed teams with diverse skills on-demand

· manage and coordinate work with distributed teams leveraging remote working best practices

Ultimately you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects that can span across hardware, software, cloud, data, IOT, web and mobile technologies

Responsibilities:

· Single point of contact for the customer stakeholders leading end-to-end delivery of projects in-line with agreed statement of work to design, develop and implement digital projects

· Develop project scopes & objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders & ensuring technical feasibility

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress but be flexible and respond to change

· Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions

· Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes

· Ensure resource availability and allocation

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

· Help the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget to meet the business needs measured through agreed KPIs

· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders - Effectively collaborate and communicate project road map, status, and issues to management and other stakeholders as necessary

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks, report and escalate to management as needed

· Identify, scope, and drive process improvements across your area(s) of ownership

· Understand the IT and quality management policies and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and systems are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

· 10+ years along with project management experience

Skills / Qualifications:

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronics Engineering

· Minimum 6+ years of relevant project management experience in software engineering projects

· Experience managing projects involving Cloud, IoT, Data Analytics, Product-Centric Development

· Certified scrum master (Preferred) and working knowledge in agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc. – 3+ years of experience as a scrum master or similar role

· Experience in applying Design Thinking principles for requirement engineering is desired

· Strong people and project management skills

· Willingness and ability to work independently, think creatively, and ability to pivot depending on changing priorities and business needs

· Excellent communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization.

· A strong team player who works well within cross functional team structure and geographies

· Project Management related certifications such as PMP/RK-PMQ
