We are currently looking for an Associate Director, Project Management to join the GroupM Consulting Data, Analytics & Technology (CDAT) team.

GroupM CDAT team is a start-up incubated within GroupM, and offers services from Mad-tech Consulting, covering First party data strategy, Martech stack implementation, and Advanced measurement and analytics helping our clients make marketing work better for people.

As Associate Director, Project Management, you’ll be accountable for delivering strategic projects and initiatives, proactively engage multiple teams (inside and outside of GroupM and their agencies) and stakeholders to support the vision of GroupM of shaping the next era of media.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Head of GMS Data, Tech & Analytics.

Measures of success –

In three months:
• Thorough understanding of the GroupM CDAT suite of offerings, products and services
• Established processes and tools to manage the projects, deliverables, resource allocation and team collaterals for marketing purpose
• Established communications plan to relay the status and success across the business, agencies and with client and business stakeholders to C-suite level

In six months:
• Leveraging the processes to manage the on-going projects, streamlining the delivery landscape, tracking the SLA’s and ensuring optimal resource utilization in place
• Developed strong working relationships with all team members and relevant stakeholders (e.g. agencies, partners, GroupM buying teams)

In twelve months:
• Working closely with the Head of CDAT, contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the frameworks and processes benchmarked to professionally certified across consulting industry

Responsibilities of the role:
• Lead the planning and implementation of projects assigned by Head of CDAT
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables alongside client stakeholders
• Accurately translate business requirements into project requirements
• Assemble and coordinate project staff across CDAT, bringing in and aligning with wider stakeholders within Agency, GroupM, WPP and 3rd party suppliers
• Establish consistent workflows with internal and external business stakeholders
• Manage project resource allocation
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team, applying agile methodologies
• Work with delivery team and stakeholders to ensure overall end product quality
• Steer meetings involving internal and external resources, of all functions and levels of seniority
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Along with Head of CDAT, act as point of contact for incoming new business requests - supporting in pitches, scoping discovery and costing of new opportunities
• Create content to support promotion of activity - case studies, newsletters. testimonials and product descriptions to share business wide in newsletters, the ST website and Global Product Hub, amongst others
• Build and evolve new business collateral to support growth across CDAT

What you will need:
• Leadership: demonstrated experience of leading a cross-functional project team and 3rd party technology vendors
• Technical understanding: sufficient to be able to solve problems and guide delivery of projects
• Understanding of data: significant experience working with media data and data focused media and marketing products
• Agility: familiarity with Agile methodology and a proven track record of delivering successful project outcomes
• Matrix management: demonstrated experience of managing high volumes of smaller, day to day activities in a matrix management environment
• Self-sufficiency: ability to learn quickly with minimal direction
• Gravitas: demonstrated experience of managing the senior business stakeholders, and pragmatically balancing stakeholder expectation and demand with delivery capability and capacity
• Detail oriented: excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Creative thinking: ability to develop concrete requirements from unclear situations
• Critical thinking: the ability to infer and 'read between the lines'
• Multi-tasking: ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality output

Key Requirements:
• Significant project management experience required
• Strong leadership skills
• Client Management or Client Success experience
• Proven success in managing 3rd parties in data and technology
• Proven success in building and rolling out consulting and technology projects or solutions
• Team player: You understand that your success depends on teamwork and are willing to pitch in to get the job done. You bring a positive, can-do attitude. You love learning and sharing your knowledge and skills with others.
