DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENT AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES

The Department was established in 1994. It trains students in different aspects of political science, with a strong emphasis on international relations, comparative politics and European Studies.

The Department plays an important role in the internationalisation efforts of the University. It is also involved in Faculty- and University-wide research initiatives in relation to Smart Societies, System Health, Augmented Creativity, Computational Social Science, Data Economy and Ethics. Part-time Lecturer (PR0699/21-22)

The Department is looking for a Part-time Lecturer to lead and teach two courses between September 2022 and December 2022. The two courses are i) Introduction to Political Economy; ii) World Order Issues.

We welcome applicants with expertise in political economy and international relations/global studies.

Applicants should have i... a relevant PhD degree; and ii) appropriate teaching and research experience in higher education.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
