Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Build data systems & pipelines according with business needs;

Conduct raw data organization and cleansing (from... different data sources) including data analysis, reporting on the results;

Interpret data trends, patterns and issues;

Build algorithms and prototypes for real-time data processing;

Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work;

Apply quality assurance and test procedures to improve data reliability contributing to engineering documentation;

Align data projects with organizational goals.
Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Background in IT, data or computer science;

Knowledge about databases and data warehouses, including data extraction, transformation and loading;

Knowledge about big data ecosystem (e.g. HDFS, HIVE, Impala, HBase);

Knowledge on data processing methods and tools (e.g. Spark);

Experience with data API's, message brokers and SW interfaces;

Knowledge on data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques;

Knowledge of programming languages;

Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques and tools (Spark, Tableau and Power BI);

Good communication skills.
