- Economics/Commerce/Management (preferably with marketing/sales focus) or technical university degree with supplementary professional experience in the broader field of Marketing and Sales
- Strong interest for Chinese market and People Mover Business
- Experience in cooperation projects/intercultural competence China (constructive cooperation) and strong management ability in interacting within cross-functional teams
- Experience in different areas within logistics, production planning and purchasing; good knowledge of the product development process
- Knowledge about MDS and MDS Future product development process from strategy phase.
- Very strong analyzing and structuring skills (big picture thinking), forward thinking and results-driven with a strong commitment to succeed
- Proven communication and presentation skills and readiness to cope with frequent Top-Management exposure and any kind of results/expectations
- Outspoken team player and good social skills for problem solving... and establishing of a sound relationship with team members and partners
- Sensitivity and willingness to work in a Joint Venture/Cross Cultural Environment
- Confident, ready for working under pressure and fully self-consistent and reliable
- Knowledge of the HQ MB Vans organization will be helpful
- Fluent spoken/ written English
- Willingness to travel frequently
